Outreach Ministry

All about Souls is an outreach ministry focusing to those in correctional facilities, transitional homes, half way houses, the sick and shut in, and the homeless. We minister through the word and testimonies, conducting worship services in varies facilities. Many lived have be touched and changed through the power of this ministry. We begin in 2008 compelling men and women to come.

God’s Full Blessing Food & Clothing Pantry is Turning Point’s pantry located on the corner just West of the church. The pantry has been continuously operational for 10 years. We have seen God provide for those who came to the pantry when we had much to give and when we had little to give. In short, God has been faithful!

When someone comes to the Pantry they can expect to get what they need to help them in the short term with food or clothing, but they can also receive prayer and/or information about our events/services. The pantry does special food basket give-a-ways in November & December. Families must pre-register with a Pantry Board Member to receive a basket.

Youth Choir, Adult Choir, Praise Teams & Musians

The Music department includes the TP Family Choir, Praise Team, Youth Choir, and the TP Praisers Children’s Choir. We usher in the presence of God through song. Our goal is to train adults and children to sing and play skillfully unto the Lord . Music plays a large part in our our worship services and we give God nothing less then the our best.

Every 1st & 3rd Friday and Sunday

Turning Point Youth Department host powerful worship services, numerous leadership opportunities, and a support system that encourages natural and spiritual growth. Youth from ages 2 1/2 – young adults are welcome. We often have age-based classes  and fulfilled activities. Whether  discussing budgeting with young adults, taping a tv show, going to children’s camp or enjoying field day with the Colts’ Alumni, TPYD is always up to something. Come and join us!

The Turning Point Bus Ministry provides transportation for everyone in the I456 area. We realize that not having adequate transportation is just one the the devices that can be used to demotivate  people from coming to God’s house. We strive to take away that excuse. If you call, we will come.

TP will bring the Word to you, in-home gatherings meet for fellowship, Bible study. No matter where your schedule there is almost certain to be a Home Bible Study convenient to you and your schedule.  

This is a 4 week program. You set the schedule that works for you and your family. Each lesson is only 1 hour.  These lessons are designed  for the entire family. The lessons will cover:

Someone Who Cares

The “Someone Who Cares” nursing home ministry mission is to encourage, uplift and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are in rehabilitation and nursing home centers. We are there to let the residents know the Jesus knows and cares about their situation. We minister The Word of God and edify in songs and testimonies. We love seeing God’s power being displayed before our eyes. He know how to save heal and deliver from any thing that can come upon man.

It Does Matter

We, the members of prayers warriors ministry come together with the expectation for God to move. “It Does Matter”, Turning Points television show, is aired every Saturday night from 11pm -12pm on WHMB Channel 40. During the show, watchers are encouraged to call in for prayer. We want to reach as many souls as possible and be prepared to immediately go into spiritual warfare for someone when this their time of need. We will visit the sick and imprisoned and pray. We believe that there is nothing that God can’t do.  He is The Master of Every Situation.

Prayer Reaches Every Single Situation

Started in 2012, the P.R.E.S.S. was initially a church youth project by Turning Point Family Worship Center. The youth were challenged to account for a million minutes of prayer in one month. After calculating, they realized they could not get to a million minutes even if they prayed all day, every day so they they began asking people simply, "Will you pray with me?".

If the person agreed, they would commit to a number of minutes and the kids would verify the number of minutes prayed each week. Not only did they get to a million minutes, but there was participation from six countries, six states and they had 15,000 fans on facebook. 

The media ministry is responsible to getting the preached words, illustrated messages, audio book or anything media related out to the public. We record all of our morning services and Bible Studies.  You can listen online or download our podcast

Strong men find great comfort when they come together with other Christian men who desire to demonstrate the love and power of God in their life.   Men’s ministry gives more than accountability, it helps each participant gain from the others strengths.  Fellowship and sharing God’s word will help each brother grow in the grace of the Lord.  Men’s ministry is a place to give and receive, exercise gifts, and strive with others to serve the Lord.

When you join our church family, we hope you will share our Women’s ministry.  It is designed to help us grow in Christ by offering opportunities for fellowship and sharing of God’s Word for ladies of all ages .   A strong sisterhood provides a safe atmosphere for us to grow and learn from each others experiences and God’s Word.  This ministry will connect the rich Word of God to your heart and help you live a productive life as a godly woman.

Youth Leadership Program

Turning Point Youth Leadership Program was officially launched in January 2014. However,  prior to 2014 the Program Leaders worked two separate programs- the Lil' Sisters and Young Men of Standards. These programs started in 1999 and were precursors to today's Youth Leadership Program. They focused on instilling life skills and mentoring the children.

In 2014, YLP was birthed to bring the programs together under one Department and focus on leadership skills and personal development. Since then,  feedback and involvement from the Community has been phenomenal. Enrollment in 2015's program is up by 125% and the retention between 2014-2015 is at 90%. 

Parents absolutely love YLP as well and frequently comment as to how much fun their children have and how organized the Program is.

In 2015, YLP has begun exploring the possibility of satellite programs. YLP has worked with a local Boys & Girls Club and is currently pursuing establishing Summer clubs in local neighborhood complexes.

YLP is a function of the Turning Point Family Worship Center Youth Department, but nearly half of the participants do not attend TPFWC as a church home. This is very much a community program with a worldwide vision.

Marriage Ministry

OH NO!!! Someone has just murdered love and respect in a marriage!!!!  Just In…. Communication and forgiveness have gone missing!!!  HELP!!!! Somebody has locked up affection and commitment behind the bars of bitterness!  We can HELP!!! It’s our duty to uncover evidence that will identify the usual suspects but it is your duty to STOP them from destroying your marriage!!

The Locked 4 Life Marriage Ministry #L4L will endeavor to help you investigate and identify areas of risk in your own marriage using the Word of God!  Marriage should feel like a blessing not a life sentence without parole!  Check the calendar for upcoming events!

This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and the church.  Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and see that she reverence her husband.  Eph. 5:32-33
